Saturating 2024 with Good Books: Reading Challenge ‘24

This year I’m undertaking a reading challenge. I did this last year and it was a fun opportunity to keep myself accountable in my reading habits, and to stretch the boundaries of what I would normally read.
The challenge is to complete twelve books of differing genres in 2024. This is not an exhaustive list of what I might read throughout the year, and, if you were to join me in it, the list shouldn’t become a constraining force for your reading. If anything, it should serve as a starting point, a launching pad for reading as many books, of as many genres, as you can.
2024 is the year of opportunity, reading is a way to go about seizing the opportunities, or, in fact, creating some.
If you’d like to join me in this challenge, you can find the list of categories below, and a downloadable PDF you can use to help you keep track!
The plan is to saturate 2024 with good books. Let’s get to it.
- A Poetry Collection
- A Murder Mystery
- A Classic (whatever genre, style or era)
- A Book about Spies
- History (fiction or non-fiction)
- Autobiography or Biography
- A Book about Health and Wellbeing
- A Book about Work and Creativity
- A Children’s Book
- A Book about Theology/Religion
- A Book set in a Different Country
- A Book Originally in a Foreign Language
